Whitehead Energy Solutions Announces New MaxLite LED Products

ATLANTA — Whitehead Energy Solutions, an Atlanta based electrical manufacturer’s representative, announces the availability of new energy-efficient LED products from MaxLite.

LED-focused lamps and luminaries from MaxLite’s MaxLED line and DesignLights Consortium (DLC)-approved LED flat panels and troffers offer high-end results while qualifying for utility rebates.

The MaxLED line includes BR30 and 40 models and ENERGY STAR-rated LED A19, PAR30 and PAR38.

Using just 13 and 17 watts respectively, the highly-efficient BR models significantly reduce customers’ carbon footprint without sacrificing the high quality of light, and are the ideal lighting solution for recessed and architectural residential, retail, office space and hospitality applications.

Replacing a 40-watt incandescent bulb, the seven-watt A19 frosted lamp is dimmable to meet user preferences in table, floor and ceiling fixtures, reducing energy by 80 percent. The PAR model lamps deliver high-quality light in retail, residential, recessed and architectural lighting applications while offering a long L70 life of more than five years based on 12 hours per day. The Restriction of Hazardous

Substances (ROHS)-compliant PAR models are constructed without mercury or hazardous materials and enable cool operation, maintained lumens and reduced HVAC costs.

The LED flat panels and troffers that qualify for utility rebates include:

  • Performance Series Direct Lit Flat Panels in a 60-watt 2’X4’ model available in 3500K, 4100K and 5000K correlated color temperatures (CCT) and exceed a minimum CRI of 82 are the ideal replacements for fluorescent fixtures in lay in or T-grid ceilings requiring a minimum installation depth. They enable even light distribution and are dimmable to meet user preference.
  • Edge Lit Flat Panels models in 45-watt 1’X4’ and 2’X2’ models and 50-watt 2’X4’ models available in 3500K and 5000K CCT with a 50,000 hour L70 rated life and a color rendering index (CRI) of 80-plus are fully dimmable and compatible with building controls, motions sensors, timers and daylight harvesting systems for additional energy savings.
  • ECO-T LED Recessed Troffer models in 45-watt 2’X2’ and 55-watt 2’X4’ combine high efficiency with classic recessed housing and replaceable LED strips resembling fluorescent tubes.

Also for customer convenience, Whitehead would like to highlight MaxLite’s online resources that emphasize energy efficiency, including a ROI calculator, which allows customers to navigate their switch to MaxLite’s LED solutions, and a searchable database of available utility rebates by state.
